Really great place to stay, away from traffic but with a nice view of the ocean.

Location and view was amazing. Layout of the apartment was great in that the bedroom was separate from the kitchen and lounge. All rooms had views. Very clean and neat.

10 - “Wonderful place to escape the busy city life!"
The view from the terrace was just fantastic. We enjoyed the sunrise in the morning and having breakfast in the early sunlight. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The location feels safe and secure at any time and there's a parking spot in the private driveway of the complex.

Host was friendly but honored our privacy, beds were comfy, kitchen well-equipped, good location - thank you

Dave made everything he could make our stay as great as possible. He came to meet us at late night because we got late on our way. He explained everything clearly and have us good tips to see the cape. The Cottage we stayed had everything from a old traditional BBQ to the newest of alarm systems. There was a lot of natural light which we liked. Kitchen and living room are very spacious.

10 - “Stunning sea views at Seagetaway”

The room was impeccably clean and had all the facilities we could want including full DSTV and free WiFi. There are excellent sea views and a private deck around the side of the building where you can braai and have a panoramic sea view. Stunning place to stay. I would recommend it

“Dave der Vermieter hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen und gleich mit guten Tipps versorgt. Die Aussicht aus dem 2-Zimmer Apartment ist klasse und man kann sich in dem kleinen geschützten Garten wie Zuhause fühlen. Sonnenbaden, grillen, lesen oder einfach nur auf`s Meer schauen.... Im Kap Nationalpark ist man in knapp 10 Minuten, die Pinguine an Boulders-Beach sind fast vor der Haustüre und in Simonstown ist man in 5 Minuten. Die Größe ist ideal für ein Paar, evtl. auch mit einem Kind. Wer selbst kochen oder Grillen will, sollte sich auf der Anreise in einem guten Spar oder Woolworth in den größeren Orten gut eindecken, da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Simonstown selbst, eher begrenzt sind.”

Superb Seagetaway!
We spent two nights in this delightful cottage - and it was perfect. The views are magnificent (even from the bath-tub) and the garden cleverly maintained to ensure complete privacy and no street visibility. Dave is a great host, and the cottage is well situated - very close to penguins, golf course and fabulous restaurants - Simon'sTown in itself is a Gem! Highly recommended - will stay here again!

Very peaceful and amazing apt
Dave was a really nice host. He knows very well his region and gave is good advice for our trip. Very charming apt with a balcony in front of the sea. Very clean and the area is quiet and peaceful.

Seagetaway is one of the few places I can say really go out of their way to accommodate and provide value for money. I have stayed there twice now and each time been impressed. Way to go Seagetaway! Keep it up - see you soon!

The perfect coastal getaway.
After extensive travelling and with a pile of writing and editing to do, I felt a great need to retreat to the coast for a night. Seagetaway cottage was perfect for this. Beautifully positioned and equipped, very private, easy check-in and check-out method. Great outdoor space. And within walking distance of the beach, although I could see whales from the lounge and hear the ocean from my bed ... Also, very importantly excellent WiFi. Everything has been considered. Thank you to my host, I long to return for more.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.
Der Besitzer David war gelich supernett und hilfreich und alle Tipps einfach perfekt! Ohne ihn und seine Empfehlungen hätte wir viele schöne und sehenswerte Orte am Kap der Guten Hoffnung glatt verpasst. Und auch seine Restaurantempfehlungen (Classico) hat alles perfekt abgerundet! Unterkunft ist gleich zum Wohlfühlen mit netten, liebevollen Details!

We had 4 nights in the 'Superior' apartment, having just flown in from London for a 2-week tour of the Garden Route. It was a perfect start to the holiday. The apartment is fitted out to a high standard and has a nice garden with a lovely sea view. It is a very quiet location but also handy for Boulders Beach and exploring the rest of the Cape Peninsula. David responded promptly to my emails before arriving and provided lots of maps and advice on arrival. We self-catered and enjoyed the good TV channels and wifi in the evenings. Enjoyed relaxing and eating our meals in the garden. There is a BBQ also provided. We hope to come back and experience it all again next year !

Fantastic stay near Boulder's Beach.
We stayed at Seagetaway Cottages during our last days in Cape Town and we could not get the end of our stay more perfect. Dave was such a great host and helped us with everything. He even gave us a drive to the parking at Cape Point and under the drive he stopped and told us a lot of thing and pointed out where to go and what everything was. Perfect. He also gave us good tips about which restaurants we could go to, and we ended up with a great last dinner in South-Africa. About the room: It was one of the best room in that price class we had on our trip. It was huge enough for us, it was clean and had everything we needed. The little outdoor area was also perfect with a great view over the ocean

From the moment we opened the door our holiday began. Great attention to detail.

Fabulous place with an amazing view. We had a perfect start and a perfect end to a perfect wedding. Thank you Dave!

A quaint, small, self catering unit with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Dave's instructions regarding the roads and entrance to the unit were most effective and helped us find the unit without any trouble and to retrieve the keys/alarm all was plain and clear. The unit is pleasant, clean and with beautiful views over the ocean. Seagetaway is in a quiet area with very little traffic. It has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and shower as well as a separate toilet, lounge and dining area with fully equipped kitchen, fridge and microwave. An extra bed is in the lounge area. TV enabled us to watch the tennis, cricket and rugby!

Schade, dass man irgendwann wieder abreisen muss! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, ruhig und mit wunderbaren Ausblick. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll. Es ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Dave ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich sehr um uns gekümmert und uns gute Tips und Info´s gegeben hat.

Die kamer is goed toegerus, netjies en het 'n pragtige ligging. Die omgewing is stil en wonderlik vir 'n rustige nagrus. Die eienaar is vriendelik en behulpsaam. As 'n persoon wat oor die afgelope 20 jaar by baie gastehuise oornag het, kan ek dit beslis aanbeveel as uit die boonste rakke.
